New Limited Production Run Mini
Some time ago we produced a limited run of mini actions here at K.S. Arms designed for the Russian/ARC, .223, SPC/Valkyrie class of cartridges. It is a 3Lug 60degree bolt throw, has a Howa mini footprint, uses Rem700 pattern triggers, and Howa mini mags and also has feed lips for sporting rifle builds.
The idea was to produce a slick 3lug mini that was compatible with already available aftermarket stocks/chassis, and good available triggers. ---Some may pose the question “Why?” and I really don’t have a good answer other than Why Not… these are built to the same quality and tolerances as any of our other actions using the same materials, and may be my personal favorite yet, smooth fast and fun with a lot of value built in at the price.
The original three prototypes have been in service for over 2 years and we finished up the rest recently and staff have been satisfying our own personal “needs” for more toys but it is now time to sell the rest.
I made the decision to build out individual rifles and offer them up for sale as complete packages. I did this in part because I selfishly enjoy putting together rifles and testing them at the range, and also in part to keep cost down as we have been able to add to on-going barrel production and fill chambering time on the lathe. There are also two caveats with the actions, one being the safety lever is our own/modified, and the second is drop in fit is only with MDT products, as other brands of chassis/stocks require some modification to clear the trigger.
At this time there are 5 rifles ready to go, with more on the way. Each one comes with a target shot with factory ammo. Have a look at them, they’re individuals and maybe there’s one you can’t live without. The ARC cartridges have been a lot of fun and are really over-achievers’ and the price of quality factory ammunition is hard to beat.
I’m also taking suggestions for the next rifles so if you have ideas for calibres/barrel lengths or otherwise, they’ll be appreciated.
